do you lie?

i think it's funny how we are talking about lying today because just yesterday i was talking to a co-worker about how we have to act in certain areas of our life. for example at school you have to be able to sit in a class and listen to a teacher, at work you can never just be yourself because being who everyone is will never be accepted in society. we all have to act a certain way because if we were just ourselves everywhere conflict would definitely begin. everyone lies in this world and sometimes it's not something that you think about before you do we are just raised in a society where we have to act a certain way and talk and act a certain way in order to be accepted and taken seriously. so whenever you go to a store and the salesperson is extra nice to you just know that that is their job and they are probably a totally different person outside of work. do you agree?

corporation blog

I think that the whole corporation situation has its advantages and disadvantages. I don't agree with it as much I think some people do. One of the reasons I don't agree with it is because it's unfair. I think that not everyone is as wealthy as a corporation is. For example, if someone is starting their own campaign there is no way there are going to be able to overcome the power that a corporation has to be able to advertise themselves. They start from the get go and work their way up to be able to get enough awareness of themselves out to the public. In a way I’m for it because if it’s for a good cause then people will know more about their surroundings. Another reason I’m against it is because so much money gets put into stuff like that when it’s just a repeat on TV or anywhere else. Some of the money they use to just repeats ads or bulletins can be used for something better such as education, public services, bettering the communities. What do you think?

Happy Ending?

Lovey seems like she's never going to be happy with herself. She is never going to be happy with what she is. She comes from a very different place and the new people around her expect her to stay within her own cultural traits. Which include being able to look and act Japanese. She wants to be able to fit in but her self conciousness is going to get to her to her because she wants to be perfect in other people's eyes.

collaboration blog

I think working in a group with different people has its benefits and its disadvantages. Everyone is different and everyone has different paces. Some disadvantages are, for example, is that it’s hard for someone to be in a group with people that leave things for the last minute or vise-versa. Or if someone is very productive and is wanted to do really good on a project and is working really hard to get things done but at the same time going all out and they know they won’t get it done if everyone in their group is not on that same state of mind. On the other hand working with people is a good experience to have. You get to meet people and are able to establish relationships and some even turn out to be long life ones. I personally like working in either situation, but if I’m working in a group they better be doing there work! :)

My Home

Home to me is freedom. It’s a way to be able to relax after a long day. I'm able to go to a place where I know a heart warming family is waiting for me. Home is where I usually spend all of my time. I like being home and just being able to spend time with my family. In a way I consider home a person now that I think of it. It helps me stay calm and focus. I like being home, because at home I know I can just be me. My home is my own world and sometimes only I understand how it works. :)
